Services
This page contains all the services currently provided by The Software Workshop. It also includes a detailed description of each phase during development, together with a form for you to fill in a Development Request.
What is Available?
Here follows a list of all development services that I’m currently able to put on offer. It contains descriptions of both the kind of work that can be done with each service alongside the platforms for which development is available. Take your time in determining what service suits your needs/wishes the most.
Each of the development services listed below is priced according to an hourly rate of €40,-/hour. This applies to all customers, be they located in the European Union or nations like the United States.
The specified rate also has VAT-related costs already included. This serves to avoid unforeseen additional expenses for clients once payment is required.

This service is intended for those looking to have someone develop a prototype, add a difficult feature or work on a small-scale project for a Windows-specific desktop application. Development work will be performed using the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) in Visual Studio.
Check out ‘Cross-Platform Development’ if the application needs to support Windows alongside other platforms.

My workflow, in detail…
First Contact
Upon receiving a development request, I will spend time analyzing the proposal in order to determine whether the desired result is practical and achievable within the given time-frame. This will include a (rough) estimate of the amount of time needed to perform the desired work, as well as a suggestion of alternative options in case the desired tooling could prove problematic long-term.
All of the information described above will be relayed back to you via a detailed report within a maximum of 48 hours.
Narrowing it Down
Once the basic details of the proposal have been agreed upon by both sides, I will proceed with more in-depth discussions concerning the details (think of the technology stack alongside the precise feature requirements), together with a refined time-table on when certain project milestones need to be completed (taking into account potential roadblocks during development).
Once in-depth discussions have started, payment becomes a requirement for development work to continue. Given your personal preference, invoices can be delivered on either a weekly or monthly basis.
In The Flow
Once all of the major details have been agreed upon, development work on the project will commence. This will be done in a cyclical manner, with continual contact in-between milestones so as to routinely validate results and prevent clients from having unforeseen surprises during milestones. Alternatively, this also allows for clear communication in case the project’s specifications or other details affects its delivery or the time-table of the various milestones.
Finishing the Job
Once the concept/feature/application fits all the desired requirements (incl. potential alterations), development work will be rounded up. If applicable and in a manner discussed at the start of the project, critical infrastructure required to keep the application functioning (think of a database or web server) will be handed over in such a way that the client gains full control over the application systems (according to his/her wishes).
Given your personal preference, I can either keep your contact information in case it’s your desire to reach out to me for future projects, or remove your details entirely if this is more preferable to you for privacy reasons.
Looking to Collaborate?
