This page contains all the services currently provided by The Software Workshop. It also includes a detailed description of each phase during development, together with a form for you to fill in a Development Request.
What is Available?
Here follows a list of all development services that I’m currently able to put on offer. It contains descriptions of both the kind of work that can be done with each service alongside the platforms for which development is available. Take your time in determining what service suits your needs/wishes the most.
A negotiated fixed compensation (if applicable, paid for in terms) or a rate of €40/hr. (VAT incl.), is required for each of the development services listed below.

This service is intended for those looking to have someone develop a prototype, add a difficult feature or work on a small-scale project for a Windows-specific desktop application. Development work will be performed using the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) in Visual Studio.

This service is intended for those looking to have someone develop a prototype, add a difficult feature or set up a small-scale project for a native Android application. Depending on the details of the request, development work will be performed using either Java or Kotlin in Android Studio.

This service is intended for those looking to have someone develop a prototype, add a difficult feature or set up a small-scale project for a cross-platform application. Depending on the details of the request, development work will be performed using either Flutter in Android Studio or .NET MAUI in Visual Studio.

This service is intended for those looking to have someone develop a prototype, add a difficult feature or set up a small-scale project for a gaming application. Based on the details of the request, development work can either be performed using game frameworks/engines built around C# (such as MonoGame/Unity) or C++ (SDL/SFML) in Visual Studio.
The Process, in detail…
First Contact
When you submit a development request, I will spend some time analyzing the proposal in order to get a clear understanding of your desired application/feature. This will include an estimated duration of the required work as well as determining what available technology best suits your request.
All the information above will be relayed back to you in a detailed report within 48 hours.
Narrowing it Down
Once the fundamentals of the work have been fully laid down, I will proceed with more in-depth discussions in an effort to establish the precise technical requirements, alongside an exact estimate of the development time required (barring any significant road-blocks during development).
From this point forward, paying the hourly rate will become a requirement for development to continue. Based on what you prefer, the invoice will be sent to you on either a weekly or monthly basis.
The Meat and Potatoes
With the definitive details established, work on the application will officially commence. Scheduled updates will be given so as to give you a consistent overview of progress pertaining to the application/feature. These will also be used to discuss changes to the requirements or possible even alternatives in case major problems begin to arise.
Finishing the Job
Development work will be rounded up once the application/feature contains all the desired requirements (incl. alterations). Once this has been completed, a ‘hand-over‘ will take place in which any vital services for the application (a database for example) will be transferred to your full control.
Based on what you prefer, I can keep your name and contact information stored so as to use them for any future requests you might have, or remove them from storage entirely if you prefer this information to only be stored so long as the request remains open.
